You now have a person with unbroken spirit that wants to succeed and is hungry for activity, adventure and challenge.
You have given them the opportunity for the acquisition of skills and wisdom and they are using this opportunity.
Now you must get out of the way and let them do their best work for you.
To focus this talent, energy and ability :
Clearly define what you want they to accomplish (not to do - but to accomplish)
Eliminate all unnecessary rules and constraints.
Provide the resources they need to get it done.
Set the moral compass clearly.
Guide where necessary.
Hold them accountable.
Reward for accomplishment.
Correct for honest mistakes.
Punish for theft, dishonesty, laziness.
If you follow these principles you will have the highest level of productivity possible from the people that you lead.
